Blogmas Day 2: Exciting Things About Christmas

Hey Guys,

My mouth is currently completely numb and I'm bleeding a lot. If you didn't read yesterdays post then you wouldn't know I got my teeth out today. I'm fine, it's just I want to feel my face right now and I can't.
Todays post is "Exciting Things About Christmas". Back in October I filmed one of these for autumn/fall on my youtube channel. I think it is the perfect video or post to get you in the Christmas spirit. woo!

Christmas Movies
throughout the rest of the year, I don't really watch many movies. However, around Christmas time I enjoy snuggling up on the sofa and watching movies with my family. they always get me so festive and ready for Christmas. The other day me and my family watched "Almost Christmas". it was really good! I am also looking forward to watching all the classics like:
- Christmas Vacation
- Nativity 1,2 and 3 (although 3 was awful)
- The Polar express
- Santa Claus
- Elf

Advent calendars
I get really excited every year about my Dairy Milk advent calendar. To be able to wake up to a bit of chocolate every morning is so cool. Although chocolate it good, there are a lot of different calendars coming out now. This year, apart from my Dairy Milk calendar, I got the Tanya Burr 12 days of Christmas calendar and the Simply Be charm bracelet Calendar.

Christmas Music
This one is probably my favourite off the list. Yesterdays post was my Winter/ Christmas playlists  *shameless self-promo*. I honestly cannot pick a favourite Christmas song. I really like all I want for Christmas, do they know it's Christmas and fairytale of New York. Comment down below your favourite Christmas song and maybe give me some suggestions. This year, Kacey Musgraves released her Christmas album "A Very Kacey Christmas". my favourite off the album is 100% ribbons and bows. It is so good.

Festive décor
No surprise with this one! I always go completely over-board with decorations (especially for Halloween and Christmas). One of my future blogmas posts will be a DIY room décor. lot's of people go to very expensive stores to buy decorations such as John Lewis but I usually go to places like Poundland and Wilkinsons. You will be surprised with the amount of amazing pieces you can find there. So far this year I have got:
- hanging snowflakes
- starry lights
- silver snowflake tinsel
- window stickers
- cute washi tape (for journaling purposes)

Sunsets and sunrises
This one probably sounds really lame and all but I really enjoy the beautiful sunsets and sunrises in the winter time. I captured a really beautiful one last year as I was on my way to school. it was a really nice purple/blue colour, it kinda looked like a galaxy. Every year I take pictures of them because they are always so mesmerising.
Present buying
I absolutely love planning and buying presents for my friends and family. every year I spend way to much on people but it's just so much fun. I love to watch people's reactions as they unwrap the present. Also if your gonna buy a present for me *wink**jk*, I am a sucker for packging. you could literally wrap up a potato really pretty and I would be the happiest person on earth.

Food and Family Time
Christmas day is always the best in my house. I love spending time with my family unwrapping presents and eating lots of delicious food. My Mum makes amazing Christmas dinner and I always look forward to it. The whole point of Christmas is to celebrate a religious tradition (although I am not really religious) and spend time with your family.
Lush
Don't lie to me, you know lush is best around Christmas. All the limited edition products come out and they are some of my all time faves. This year I really started liking lord of misrule shower cream and snow fairy scented products.
Father Christmas bath bomb
