I was meant to write this post ages ago and i'm so sorry that I didn't. A few months ago I went do Tanya Burr's book signing. It was a big day for me as Tanya is a huge inspiration for me and was one of the many people who inspired my youtube along side Zoella, lifeofageekteen, sprinkleofglitter and tashalovesbeauty,
I met up with my two friends Ellie and Gracie as we got the train to London Victoria. Gracie went hyperactive and we couldn't stop laughing. We were buzzing to meet Tanya and get our books signed. I wore light blue jeggings, a white vest and a light pink striped blouse all from primark. I paired this with my super comfy Adidas superstars.
Then we got to Waterstones and they gave us our wristbands. As our signing was in a huge area (London) the queue was huge. We stood in line for about 2 or 3 hours before we made it into the store.
Finally we made it to Tanya! We got our books signed, took photos and she also signed our phone cases. It was an amazing moment for me. I was SO awkward and I wouldn't stop shaking. I thought I was gonna cry to be honest. It was still an amazing experience for me. Tanya is the first youtuber I have met so it was amazing.
After we had met Tanya, we were all hungry so we went to pizza hut! After we got some food we walked outside to see the amazing girl singing and playing the guitar out on the streets. I got all the change I had and put it in her guitar case. Being a musician in training myself I felt like I had to give her some money to help her in her career.
Gracie then forced us all to go to Crumbs&doilies in Soho. The shop is so beautiful and all the cakes look so good. I highly recommend the cookie dough brownie.
Then we went into new look and lush oxford street before catching the train back home. It was such a fun day and I'm glad I got to spend it with two of my amazing friends.
